Investors see ANOTHER return from Masterworks (!!!!)

That’s 6 sales in 7 months. 29 all time. And the performance?

16.5%, 17.6%, and 17.8%, net annualized returns on sold works held longer than one year (See all 29 at Masterworks.com)

It’s not from stocks, private equity, or real estate… it’s from contemporary and post war art. Crazy, right?

With Masterworks, you don’t need to be a BILLIONAIRE to invest in multi-million dollar art anymore.

Historically, the segment overall has had attractive appreciation and low correlation to stocks.*

Masterworks targets works featuring legends like Banksy, Basquiat, and Picasso, identifying what they believe to have significant long-term appreciation potential, not just at the artist level but at the level of individual artworks.

As one of the largest players in the art market, with $1.3 billion invested over 500 artworks, they pass critical advantages through to their 70,000+ members to add art to their portfolios strategically.

Magandang araw, kabayan. Wherever Wednesday finds you, early in Manila, on break in Osaka, or after a long shift abroad, salamat for opening today's issue. We have stronger OFW safeguards, a reminder to avoid fake recruiters, and four job links that are working right now.

In today's issue
Win of the day: DMW says it is tightening safeguards for OFWs bound for Greece, including standardized contracts and stronger verification.
Iwas-scam: the Supreme Court affirmed a large-scale illegal recruitment conviction, and DMW warns against visa-consultancy shortcuts for overseas work.
Jobs you can open today: four verified application links, including remote customer support, tech support, and a DMW-licensed overseas nursing route.
OFW Desk: the peso is around ₱61.4 per dollar, and the safety rule stays simple: verify first, pay no upfront fees.
Win of the Day
Greece DMW says OFWs bound for Greece will get stronger safeguards through standardized contracts, tighter verification, and faster support through the Migrant Workers Office.

Stronger safeguards for OFWs bound for Greece

Filipino workers heading to Greece are getting clearer protection before deployment. The Department of Migrant Workers says it is strengthening safeguards for OFWs bound for Greece through country-specific employment contracts, tighter accreditation and verification of employers and job orders, and faster on-site support from the Migrant Workers Office in Greece. A pending Philippines-Greece labor agreement is also expected to strengthen cooperation.

Why it matters  Clear contracts and verified job orders help protect kabayan from contract substitution, unfair labor practices, and illegal recruitment.

If someone offers a Greece, Canada, or US job, ask for the agency name, DMW license, and approved job order first. DMW says stronger verification is part of the Greece safeguard push, and recent cases show why the paper trail matters.

Iwas-Scam

No tourist-visa shortcut should be treated as a legal work pathway. DMW says a travel visa consultancy was shut down for alleged recruitment of caregivers to the US despite having no DMW authority or approved job orders. Verify first and pay no upfront fees.

Everyday Wins

A safer contract is a daily win. The biggest wins are not always loud. Sometimes it is a clearer contract, a real job order, a warning shared before someone pays a fake recruiter, or a kabayan getting help before departure.

Quick Hits
Reminder: overseas job posts should name a licensed agency and an approved job order. If the recruiter avoids those details, walk away.
Family check: before sending documents to any recruiter, send the agency name to someone you trust and verify it on DMW channels.
Training move: if you have 20 quiet minutes today, open one TESDA Online lesson instead of saving it for someday.

Salamat for reading, kabayan. Today's practical move: verify one agency, open one job link, or forward the scam warning to a family group chat. Small actions protect people. Hit reply and tell us one win from your week, we read every message.
