Because it pays the most, it is the most competitive, so treat the requirements list as a checklist rather than a suggestion and submit early in your region's cycle. ODSP · The wider one OFW Dependent Scholarship Program, ₱20,000 a school year. Smaller per year and aimed wider. It covers dependents who will enroll, are currently enrolled, or have been enrolled in any four or five year baccalaureate or associate course at a Philippine-based college or university. If a child is already partway through a degree, this is usually the program that fits. The expansion OWWA is adding 10,000 new scholarship slots to about 15,000 existing scholars. The agency has described this as the largest increase of its kind in its 43-year history. More slots does not mean automatic approval, but it does mean the odds this cycle are better than they have been, and that is a genuine reason to apply now rather than telling yourself you will look into it next year.
