DMW and TESDA launched the expanded K2K program: a Data Collection and Annotation (AI and data science) Level II course plus Amazon Web Services certifications in Generative AI and Machine Learning foundations, with job facilitation built in. A June 30 DMW entrapment operation in Manila caught two recruiters who collected more than ₱300,000 in processing fees for factory and welder jobs that did not exist, and the unlicensed agency office was closed.
