Three things to do before you go
1. Check the event in your dashboard
Open the official portal and sign in. Choose the specific fair, check availability, and register if the option is offered. Use View Pass afterward and save a copy.
2. Prepare one focused resume
Pick the role you want first. Put the most relevant experience, training, or school project near the top. Check that your phone number works and that you can open your email.
3. Make a realistic trip plan
Confirm the starting time and required documents with the organizer. Estimate return transport and food costs. Do not assume that every employer accepts walk-ins or recruits for your preferred role.
Ask questions that help you choose
Bring a small note with four questions: Where is the actual worksite? What are the shift hours? Which qualifications are essential? What happens after the interview? Write each employer's answers beside its name so different offers do not blend together later.
If the role is overseas, ask for the recruiting agency's exact name and the approved job-order details. DMW advises applicants to verify both the agency's licence and its job order. An attractive booth or a confident pitch is not enough information to make a decision.
Check once more before leaving home
This list was checked on September 19. Availability can change, and the public cards do not establish interview times or guarantee vacancies. The portal says registration closes when an event is full. Reopen your selected event before travelling and follow its current instructions.
Make the visit count afterward
After each conversation, record the role, the contact channel, and the promised next step. Send any requested documents through the employer's stated application route. A short follow-up that names the role and event is easier to act on than a message that only says you are looking for work.
